This session aims to help those who may be experiencing depression or anxiety related grief. This session offers an understanding of psychological reactions in relation to being bereaved and how this can impact on depression and anxiety. This session will provide an overview of grief reactions and will include bereavement related depression, trauma related grief and prolonged grief.
If you have experienced a bereavement and feel that you or a family member are struggling to cope with the effects of your loss then our IAPT Changing Minds Team is here to help. You can self-refer to IAPT Changing Minds by completing the usual IAPT online referral form online referral form here or phone our IAPT Hub number on 0300 999 1616 and you will have an assessment in order to help understand more about your anxiety/and or depression and those difficulties that are affected by grief. The assessment will enable some decisions regarding what help options are best suited to your difficulties.
