Kim Curry has been appointed to the post of Delivery Director for the iCAN programme after a competitive process.
Kim (pictured right) will start work with the Northamptonshire health and care system on Monday 13 September 2021 and will be accountable for the overall performance of the iCAN programme, which aims to transform services for frail, mainly older people in the county.
Kim has extensive experience at a very senior level in leading and undertaking transformation programmes in local authorities and in conjunction with the NHS.
She has been a Director of Adult Social Services in city and county councils, had responsibility for the strategic redesign of joint commissioning for health and social care in several parts of the country, making the sort of changes envisaged in Northamptonshire, and has worked as a performance specialist at the Audit Commission.
This extensive range of experience will stand her in good stead in taking forward the iCAN programme.
Ruth Harrison, who has worked with us as Programme Management Officer Director for nearly a year and who has been instrumental in bringing the programme to its current state of development, will be effecting the handover to Kim so that the programme will continue to run smoothly and progress is maintained.
