Photography for Wellbeing

Suz catches up with Pradeep to find out how photography has helped with his wellbeing, particularly during the pandemic and lockdown, as well as sharing the hints and tips below on how to take better photos on your mobile phone.

  • Keep the lens clean
  • Make sure the horizon is level
  • Adjust the exposure by adjusting the slider either +/- (for Android phone – tap the screen, for iPhone this will be at the side). The exposure slider may look different depending on the make of the phone.
  • Focus on the subject
  • Frame the shot
  • Experiment with different perspectives
  • Try the different filters available with your phone camera

Use these tips and join in our photography challenge during the week.
