Starting on Thursday 24 March, a series of support groups for people who have heart failure, or have suffered a heart attack will be taking place twice a month in Daventry.
The free sessions take place as follows:
Daventry group: second and fourth Thursday of the month
Northampton group: first and third Thursday of the month (from 19 May 2022)
Along with peer support and friendship, a heart failure specialist will be available to offer advice and guidance in an informal group setting. There will also be wellbeing activities and a chance to try some exercises.
If you are interested in coming to a workshop, please contact Lisa Judge from Northamptonshire Carers for more information on 01933 677 907 or LisaJ@northamptonshire-carers.org
Access to the group is by referral only, so please speak to a healthcare professional, such as your GP, practice nurse or pharmacist for more information.
