Crishni Waring, who is the chair of NHFT, has been additionally appointed as chair designate of NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB).

Crishni has significant experience of leadership at senior level. She is currently the Chair of Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, a role which she will continue, having joined from Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust in 2016 where she was a Non-Executive Director for over five years. In 2020 Crishni was invited to Chair the newly-established NHS Midlands Regional People Board which oversees the implementation of the People Plan in the Midlands Region, and she is also a member of the NHS People Directorate’s Health and Wellbeing Advisory Board.

Crishni Waring said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed as the chair designate of NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the existing health inequalities suffered by many people, and our vision for more integrated health and care services across the two counties means we now have a real opportunity to make a difference to the lives of people and communities we serve. There are synergies across the roles I currently hold, which build shared learnings and the promotion of best practice, all of which is something I’m very excited and privileged to now be a part of.”

Alongside this new role, Crishni will continue to work closely across NHFT, and as part of their Group working with Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.
