Health and social care colleagues across Northamptonshire are being encouraged to get dates in their diaries for this year’s NHCP Virtual Wellbeing Festival.
Following on from the hugely successful online event last summer, the 2021 Virtual Wellbeing Festival will be taking place from Monday 28 June to Friday 2 July.
The festival completely free and is open to everyone working in health and social care in Northamptonshire as a thank-you for your continuing hard work amid the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Featuring some well-known faces delivering keynote speeches throughout the week, the 2021 Virtual Wellbeing Festival also offers the opportunity to join a wide variety of activity sessions across each day.
It’s a fully online event with live sessions accessed through Microsoft Teams and pre-recorded material accessible through the NHCP website and YouTube channel.
And if you can’t join the live sessions, these will all be recorded for you to watch back at your leisure.
Watch out for more details of what’s coming and how you can register in the next edition of Partnership Update and via the usual staff updates from your organisation.
In the meantime, you can take a look back at a fantastic range of videos from the 2020 event by visiting the website.
Headliners at last year’s event included double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes, former footballer Clarke Carlisle, naturalist and broadcaster Steve Backshall, SAS veteran Colin Maclachlan, and doctor and TV presenter Dr Rangan Chatterjee.
Local experts also delivered sessions on a range of wellbeing topics, while colleagues from across our health and care services shared their personal stories.
The wide variety of activity held throughout the 2020 event included art therapy, baking for wellbeing, ballroom dancing, mindfulness, pilates, sleep therapy, tai chi, toga, dance sessions, ABC relaxation, anxiety management and many more.
