As part of ongoing support to leaders across our health and care system, NHCP’s workforce team has launched a new series of monthly webinars bringing world-class leaders to our virtual space to engage, inform and inspire across a range of topics.
The first of these Leadership Matters Conversations took place at the end of March and was fronted by Professor Michael West CBE, Visiting Fellow at The King’s Fund. More than120 health and social care colleagues attended the online session on the subject of Compassionate Leadership.
Registration is now open for the second Leadership Matters Conversations event on Tuesday 27 April 2021 from 10.30 to 11.30am. The sesssion will be delivered by Jamil Qureshi, one of Britain’s foremost practitioners of performance enhancing psychology and an expert in high-performing teams.
Jamil (pictured right) was appointed as the first ever official psychologist for the European Ryder Cup team in 2006 and has worked with 22 golfers inside the world’s top 50, three Premier League football clubs, two Formula 1 racing drivers and England’s 2009 Ashes winning cricket team.
Colleagues from across our health and social care system are all welcome to join NHCP’s Leadership Matters Conversations, which are hosted through Microsoft Teams. To register for Jamil Qureshi’s ‘Turning Ambition into Achievement’ session on Tuesday 27 April, click here.
