A new public survey is launched today to give local children, young people, parents and carers the chance to share their experiences of children and young people’s community health and wellbeing services in Northamptonshire.
Public Health Northamptonshire and NHS Northamptonshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are responsible for commissioning and ensuring the quality of children and young people’s community healthcare services in Northamptonshire, and have launched the survey to gain people’s views on how the future of local services should look.
Lucy Wightman, Director of Public Health, Northampton County Council and Director of Population Health, NHS Northamptonshire Clinical Commissioning Group said: “We are asking for feedback on a wide range of local community services for all children from birth up to the age of 19, from health visiting and school nursing, through to more specialist services for individual needs such as child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) and speech and language therapy.
“Hearing from local children and young people particularly about their health and what really matters to them will help Public Health Northamptonshire and NHS Northamptonshire CCG make the changes that are needed to help them stay well.
“Feedback from parents and carers is also welcome – telling us what has worked and what hasn’t, so we can ensure the services we commission meet the needs of local children, young people and families both now and in the future.
“This is a chance to have your say.”
